WiFi: Meshcom Firmware Available for On-Line Evaluation

Helsinki, Finland – March 26, 2008 - Meshcom today announced the availability of Meshcom Firmware for online evaluation. Meshcom Firmware is a complete software package that can be easily tailored for the specific product needs and company image of the customer and is especially aimed for device manufacturers who can be spared from in-house software development worries and enjoy faster time-to-market.
The availability to evaluate Meshcom Firmware over the Internet presents a convenient option for interested prospects. After receiving an interest request for evaluating Meshcom Firmware, Meshcom dedicated personnel will provide the user instant access to the GUI for trying-out. Prospect can then conveniently acquire an insight of the standard features included in the Meshcom Firmware package and experience the visual outlook of the Firmware user interface.
This special online evaluation version of Meshcom Firmware is installed into an off-the-shelf hardware platform. The unit is a fully functional prototype of a typical WISP network Wi-Fi access point, and consists of several radios for connectivity for users as well as for infrastructure backhaul. The web based management is based on Meshcom Firmware reference management interface and can be customized for any company brand and image requirements and fulfill additional functionalities required for the customer’s specific application.
