Neosho, MO - April 21, 2008
  - Top recruiting authority, Kelly Anderson, president and owner of Impact Transportation Solutions, Inc., will be presenting “Advanced Recruiting Sales Techniques,” a conference for recruiting professionals, May 15-16 in Neosho, Mo.

Core conference curriculum is from Anderson’s signature-recruiting course. Other speakers include, John Carter, Vice President of ACS Expedited Solutions, who will conduct a presentation on “Getting the Most Qualified Responses for your Advertising Dollar.” In addition, Pam Barker, of Rapidhire, will discuss some of the most effective application verification techniques in the industry.

“This event is one and a half days of intensive recruiter training filled with techniques that work—techniques that can be implemented the very next day,” Anderson said. “The small group setting also provides exceptional networking opportunities.”

Other recruiting topics presented during the course include: ways to avoid negligent hiring lawsuits, complying with new DOT regulations, advanced conversational recruiting techniques, improving the quality of drivers you hire, making the most out of every lead, and unleashing the power of internet recruiting.

“As a result of the techniques learned, recruiters have gone back to work and filled their trucks,” Anderson said. “This is not your typical spray and pray interrogation training often taught to recruiters. We show recruiters a more effective way to get the driving pool they need.”

According to past conference participant, Greg Finzen, recruiting manager for Hirschbach Motor Lines, “The training provided essential tools I needed to enhance my professional abilities as a manager and recruiter.”

The event, open to anyone with an interest in recruiting, is limited to 20 attendees. Early enrollment is encouraged. Anderson, who founded this conference in 2001, also organized the Society of Recruiting & Retention Professionals.

Since January 2008, he has successfully recruited 30 corporate members. Those interested in learning more should visit the website at www.rrsociety.com.

Information will also be available at the conference, which will be held at the Kelly Anderson Corporate Retreat and Training Center, located at 13693 Middle Grove Lane, in Neosho, Mo. The event begins at 8am May 15 and ends at noon May 16. Cost for participating is $499 for the first attendee and $449 for each additional attendee from the same company.
