BAXLEY, Ga. – July 11, 2008 – Kenworth of Savannah has expanded its customer support with a new service and parts facility in Baxley, Ga.
A member of the Kenworth dealer network of nearly 300 locations in the United States and Canada, the Kenworth of Savannah – Baxley branch is on a nearly 4-acre site that features a renovated 10,000 square-foot building, six service bays, an expanded parts department, and a larger parking lot.
“We’re pleased to open this new facility, which is certified to do warranty work on engines and offers greater parts support for customers,” said Lee Sikes, vice president and dealer principal of Kenworth of Savannah. “This new location is also very customer friendly because it’s easier to access.”
Sikes said the Kenworth of Savannah - Baxley branch is in a rural area 100 miles southwest of Savannah and serves customers in a variety of vocations and industries, especially timber and agriculture. The dealership offers two parts delivery trucks to help keep fleet maintenance shops well supplied.
