June 24, 2009 – Transport America, headquartered in Eagan, Minn., recently announced the names of two drivers who have achieve multiple million mile safe driving achievements.
Ron Shrout, who has been driving for Transport America since March 1989, has achieved three million career miles safely. Ron met his wife Peggy at Transport America and the two have teamed personally and professionally since September 1989. Peggy has racked up an impressive two million safe miles herself.
The Shrouts have two children and four grandchildren. Off the road, Ron enjoys working on his own website, hunting, fishing and playing cards while Peggy loves spending time with the grandchildren, cooking, playing on the computer and reading.
