EPPCO, a leader on technical and safety issues in fuel distribution in the Middle East region embarked on an initiative to invest in socially responsible, and environmentally friendly high quality, world class Heil aluminum trailers. These trailers offer stability and durability while reducing weight on the roads and bridges of the United Arab Emirates. They are designed for local market considerations with state of art, lighter weight aluminum to substantially reduce the operating costs with increased payload, enhanced operational and safety and ergonomic options. These new trailers comply with road laws and can haul larger volumes while significantly reducing the number of trailers on the thoroughfares of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. Chief Operating Officer of EPPCO, Eng. Zaid Alqufaidi is complementing the impressive growth of the region and especially UAE and Dubai by introducing Heil’s lighter weight aluminum trailers in EPPCO’s fleet. Mr. Zaid mentioned that he chose aluminum for its light weight and non-rusting property which renders a contaminant free product. He decided to go with Heil for its extensive experience and superior customer service. He mentioned that individuals and companies have a social obligation to the upkeep and improvement of its fellow citizens, environment and infra-structure.

Heil’s 10,000 imperial gallon aluminum semi-trailers weighed half as much as the conventional tankers used in their fleet. More importantly, these trailers are equipped with bottom loading, vapour recovery; interlock bars on the discharge handrail, air ride, super single tires, etc. The new tankers also have rear proximity sensors with audible sirens to alert the driver when reversing the tanker. As a custom manufacturer, Heil built the tank trailers per design specifications provided by the client’s Environmental, Health, and Safety Department to maintain product security and safety. Heil Trailer International’s Regional Manager for Middle East and Africa, Salauddin Mohammed, sees that the Middle East region is on the move and applauds the vision of leaders like Mr. Zaid who are taking steps to raise the standards of fuel transport.
